Biography

Erica is admitted to practice law in Ohio, the Northern and Southern Districts of Ohio, the Eastern District of Michigan, and the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. A partner with the firm, she focuses her practice in the Litigation Area and the Construction Law Group. Erica is a member of the firm's board of directors.

She has significant experience representing corporations of varying size in complex commercial cases and creditors' rights litigation in state and federal trial and appellate courts. The litigation matters she has worked on have involved a wide variety of legal issues, such as contracts, antitrust, securities law, fraud, insurance bad faith, patent infringement, environmental law, franchise law, tort claims, business torts, products liability, bankruptcy, foreclosure, replevin, compliance with government regulations, and election disputes.

Erica also represents owners, general contractors, subcontractors, and materials suppliers, in a variety of construction-related matters. She has significant experience in all types of construction projects throughout Ohio and the United States, including alternative dispute resolution and litigation.

Among her accomplishments, Erica is listed in the 2005, 2006 & 2007 editions of "Ohio Rising Stars" by Law & Politics magazine. She is also proficient in Spanish.
