Robert D. Markus is a retired partner, he focuses his practice in real estate, construction, environmental, business and corporate law. He has significant experience in the acquisition and disposition of developed and undeveloped land; commercial, industrial, shopping center and office leasing; zoning and land use proceedings; condominium acquisition and conversion; construction and permanent financing; real estate partnership formation and syndication; and real estate tax proceeding and appeals.

Bob's construction experience includes commercial, industrial and residential facilities. He represents owners, contractors and subcontractors in contract and subcontract formation; contract interpretation, mediation and dispute resolution.
Among his accomplishments, Bob is listed in The Best Lawyers in America for Real Estate Law, and in the 2004-14 editions of Ohio Super Lawyers. He is AV® Preeminent™ Rated by Martindale-Hubbell. Bob was also the recipient of the 2008 Rosewater Award for Meritorious Service to The Real Estate Section of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association (CMBA) for his leadership and expertise in the field of real estate law and his many contributions to the CMBA.
