As a middle market business lawyer, Greg brings expertise in general corporate and transactional practice with an emphasis on closely held and family businesses. His experience includes acting as the client’s outside general counsel.

In addition, Greg has a real estate background that supports his representation of business clients. His experience includes negotiating the purchase and sale of commercial real estate as well as all forms of leasing transactions. He also has extensive experience with environmental audits and other due diligence related to the purchase and sale of real estate.

Greg served as outside general counsel to a local hospital for more than 15 years, handling all aspects of its representation, including transactional and compliance matters. In addition, he oversaw all of the hospital’s contractual relationships with physicians, as well as joint ventures with ancillary providers, financing arrangements, provider contracts and medical staff, governance and regulatory issues. He continues to be involved in hospital/physician transactions such as practice acquisitions and contractual arrangements between providers and hospital systems.

At Hahn Loeser

As a partner in Hahn Loeser’s Cleveland office, Greg has acted as an adviser to companies’ owners as well as their management teams and board of directors. He has also served as the liaison between the client and other professionals at Hahn Loeser for matters outside of his area of expertise.

Greg’s experience includes counseling owners of businesses on succession planning issues, as well as representing clients in sophisticated asset and stock acquisitions and the negotiation and drafting of various contracts and agreements. Greg has counseled clients on establishing operations and/or relationships outside of the U.S., including the construction of manufacturing facilities in Mexico and China, as well as business, joint venture and strategic alliance arrangements throughout the world. He has also represented foreign entities in both the acquisition and disposition of U.S. companies.


Greg has served as chairman of the board of trustees of the Northeastern Ohio Health Care Foundation since 1997 and on the University Hospitals Urology Institute Leadership Council since 2012. He is a member of the executive council and planned giving chair at the Northeast Ohio Chapter, Prevent Blindness Ohio, and he served as former chairman of the board of trustees at Richmond Heights General Hospital. He is also a former member of the board of trustees of Mt. Sinai Medical Center, St. Vincent Charity Hospital, the Country Club of Hudson, the First Congregational Church of Hudson and the Hudson Jaycees. He currently serves on the board of trustees of Greater Akron Area Smiles for a Lifetime Foundation.
