A.J. Hensel focuses his practice in the areas of commercial litigation, public/municipal law, consumer law, military law and constitutional torts. He represents and provides counsel to individuals, businesses and local government clients (political subdivisions across Ohio) in all aspects of civil litigation, risk mitigation, and policy initiatives. A.J. has extensive state and federal court practice and proven experience in handling complex matters, from a defense or plaintiff perspective, to achieve client-desired outcomes efficiently and in a cost-effective manner.

A graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point in 2001, A.J. served for five years as an officer in the United States Army. He achieved the rank of Captain and was recognized for his exemplary leadership during Operation Iraqi Freedom II, including the Bronze Star and Meritorious Service Medal.
