Each associate is hired
with the expectation that they will become a partner
in the course of their development as an attorney.
No forced “weeding out” of a part of each class
occurs, allowing cooperation among associates to
flourish. Typically, an associate is first
considered for admission to the partnership after 8
˝ years of practice. This timeframe can vary,
however, based upon the characteristics and wishes
of the individual attorney.
