Hahn Loeser Attorneys Selected for Leadership Opportunities in Cleveland

Hahn Loeser & Parks LLP is pleased to announce that Christopher S.W. Blake was chosen for the Leadership Cleveland Class of 2018 and Robert B. Port was chosen for the 2018 Cleveland Bridge Builders Class.

Leadership Cleveland empowers recognized, senior level leaders with knowledge, skills and relationships to advance and deepen their impact on the community. This 10-month program will challenge the diverse group of participants in this year’s class to develop collaborative leadership skills, establish a broader network of community-focused leaders and gain a deeper understanding of the complexities of the civic system.

Cleveland Bridge Builders provides a unique environment that fosters teamwork, growth, leadership and learning to create a transformative experience that prepares participants for a greater role in the community. This 10-month program brings together people who have a shared passion for change and teaches them to effectively address social issues through true collaboration. Participants are chosen based on their problem-solving skills, commitment to community, demonstrated leadership abilities and interpersonal skills.

Blake is co-chair of each of the firm’s Corporate Transactions and International Practice Areas and concentrates his practice on both domestic and international corporate and transactional matters. He specializes in mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, recapitalizations and financings. Blake was a member of Cleveland Bridge Builders Class of 2004 and is on the board of the Cleveland International Film Festival and on the Cleveland Council on World Affairs. Previously, Blake served as a member of the board of trustees of the Adoption Network of Cleveland.

Port concentrates his practice in commercial litigation and has represented clients both as defendants and plaintiffs in a wide range of complex business litigation matters, including breach of contract, tortious interference with business and contractual relations, trade secrets, and breach of fiduciary duty. He also represents clients nationally in class action lawsuits. Previously, he has been named an “Ohio Rising Star” by Super Lawyers®.
